STORY

Dating to circa 1982, this Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date 15000 pairs a silver sunburst dial with a 34 mm stainless steel Oyster case, smooth bezel and acrylic crystal with Cyclops date magnifier. The dial moves from bright silver to deeper graphite tones with the light, giving an otherwise restrained watch a subtle change of character.

Inside is Rolex’s automatic Calibre 3035, with a quickset date function. A stainless steel Rolex Oyster bracelet completes the watch, while an accompanying Rolex International Service Guarantee card documents a chapter of its service history.

We call it Centre Court, inspired by the style and sporting atmosphere of its era.
