We believe this tee comes from West Georgia Medical Center, the name the LaGrange hospital adopted in 1975. The initials across the chest and number 13 on the back suggest a recreational team shirt. Perhaps a staff softball team. The kind of local sporting history that rarely makes the record books.

STORY

A brown American-made Healthknit tee with cream W.G.M.C. lettering across the chest and a worn number 13 on the back. We believe this is from West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, Georgia, likely a recreational team shirt. Believed to date from the 1980s, in a heavier-weight cotton-polyester blend. The 3 on the back is considerably more faded than the 1.

CONDITION

Worn vintage condition.

Fading to the brown fabric and loose threads at the sleeve edges. The cream chest lettering remains clear. Uneven wear and cracking to the number 13 on the back, more pronounced on the 3. Please review the detailed photographs for condition.
